Who is Silfab Solar?

In 2025, Silfab Solar boasts over 40 years of solar industry experience and over 1000 employees scattered across North America. While the company maintains an office in Toronto, Canada, 100% of Silfab Solar modules are now produced in the United States at facilities in Burlington, Washington and Fort Mill, South Carolina. The Benefits of Domestically Produced Solar  

For Silfab Solar, producing American-made solar panels comes with many benefits for installers, the US solar industry, and the planet. To start, domestic sourcing helps avoid many tariffs and completely side-steps any worries surrounding Antidumping (AD) and Countervailing Duty (CVD) laws on modules produced in select countries overseas. Domestically produced panels also adhere to the highest global manufacturing standards and ensure a supply chain free of forced labor with increased transparency and traceability, while supporting stable, high-paying jobs.  

While Domestic Content addder guidelines continue to evolve, it is difficult to pinpoint the exact economic (and tax credit) benefits of choosing American-made panels at this time, however there are no doubts that Silfab’s products support growth in local economies. The company is also very much committed to environmental sustainability with long-term strategic partnerships for recycling and low-carbon footprint production facilities.
